It was still there yesterday morning but nothing like it was the day before - the day I didn't have my camera with me. After dropping S off to school in West Linton I drove home over the Moor Road. The light was magical. The band of broadleaf trees in the middle of the photo was shining. The next day I brought my camera along took this shot.
But it's not the same thing.
We live in a world of 'moments' which can't be captured again just by being in the same place at the same time.

As the lady said to the knight who'd spurned her invitation but decided after a bit that he wasn't that busy after all and returned for an 'amorous romp'

If you will not when you may
you may not when you will.

The next day it was only just a reasonably good picture.
